Black Santa Muerte Candle — La Negra
For dark work, curse breaking, reversal, and protection against enemies.
This candle represents La Negra, the black aspect of La Santa Muerte, regarded in some traditions as one of her most feared aspects. Her associations include the darker side of magic: cursing enemies, retaliation, and petitions to bring harm to those who have caused harm.
Her black aspect is also called upon to break hexes and curses, turn harmful magic back toward its source, and protect against enemies and hostile spirits. This is the candle chosen for work involving spiritual attack, defense, and confrontation.
Let me be clear: working with this candle means bringing your petition to La Santa Muerte herself. You are asking Holy Death to intervene in a serious matter. Know what you are asking for and think carefully about the outcome you seek.
Come with respect. Speak plainly. Take responsibility for your request, and honor any promises you make. Anger alone is no reason to make a petition you have not thought through.
For those who already work with La Santa Muerte and understand the significance of her black aspect, this candle has a place on the altar for their darkest and most serious petitions.
A serious petition. A clear purpose. Respect for La Negra.
